As Chief Operating Officer, Mark is responsible for leading Husky’s operational strategy and execution across Terminal Operations, Maintenance & Repair, Terminal Services, Safety, Labor Relations, Security, and the Management Resource Center.  Partnering closely with the CEO, Mark drives long-term strategy while ensuring best-in-class performance in safety, productivity, efficiency, and customer service.

A native of Shelton, Washington, Mark is the previous CEO and owner of MacMillan-Piper and Tacoma Transload.  Prior to transloading and warehousing, Mark spent 20 years in stevedoring and terminal operations throughout the U.S. West Coast, including oversight for terminal, vessel, rail, bulk, breakbulk, military, and auto/RORO operations.

Mark currently serves as Chairman for the Washington Trucking Association (WTA), is past President of the Transportation Club of Tacoma (2012), and is a member of the National Eagle Scout Association.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with family, cooking, gardening, fishing, hiking, and being outdoors.
