Dustin Stoker

As Chief Executive Officer of Husky Terminal, Dustin’s primary role is establishing and leading the company’s mission, vision, and values. The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for implementing the direction of the shareholders leading Husky to be the Premier Marine Terminal in the Pacific Northwest by delivering innovations, exceptional customer service, attracting best-in-class staff, and safe and sustainable operations.

Stoker brings over 24 years of experience in both domestic and international terminal leadership. Before joining Husky, Mr. Stoker served as Chief Operations Officer of the Northwest Seaport Alliance/ Port of Tacoma from 2012 – 2020. Earlier in his career, he served as the Director of Deltaport in Vancouver, B.C., with Global Container Terminal (GCT), as Chief Operations Officer at Abu Dhabi Terminals, as General Manager of the Container Terminal at the Port of Salalah and in management positions with APM Terminals in the Netherlands, Los Angeles, and Tacoma.

He is a native of the Pacific Northwest and resides in the South Sound with his wife and three boys. He is an active member of his local church and enjoys physical fitness, the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

As Chief Commercial Officer, Steve is responsible for developing long-term strategic alliances with our carrier, shipper, trucking, and Port Authority partners, ensuring Husky delivers on its vision of being an innovative solutions provider and the Premier Terminal Partner in the Pacific Northwest.

Steve brings nearly 30 years of West Coast industry experience to the team. Prior to joining Husky in 2021, he began his career with Expeditors International in 1994. In 1997 he joined “K” Line America, where he led all Pacific Northwest and Western Canada operations. In 2018, Steve transitioned to Ocean Network Express as their head of PNW Port Operations following the integration of “K” Line, MOL, and NYK. Steve has sat on the board of the World Trade Center of Tacoma and the Transportation Club of Tacoma, serving as its President and past Person of the Year award winner.

Steve is a native of the Pacific Northwest and resides in the Puget Sound area with his wife, two daughters, and son. He enjoys traveling, fishing, and mountain biking across many of the incredible trails the PNW has to offer.

Erin Van Amburg

As Chief Financial Officer at Husky Terminal, Erin is responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting, financial analysis, compliance, audits, and leading the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.

Erin joined Husky in 2021, bringing with her over 20 years of accounting experience across a variety of industries. Most recently, Erin spent 5 years with the Port of Tacoma/Northwest Seaport Alliance as Manager of Accounting Operations for the majority of her tenure. Prior to that Erin honed her accounting skills in aerospace manufacturing, home building and service industries.

When away from the office, Erin can be found paddling her kayak, playing games with friends, traveling, or sewing her next cosplay.

Elisa Braley

Head, Human Resources

As the Head of HR, Elisa's primary role on the executive team is to align HR functions with the company's overall business objectives. Elisa is responsible for Human Resources, Payroll, Employee Engagement, Employee Benefits/Health, and Training and Development. She values people as a company's most important asset and aims to make HUSKY the premiere terminal in the Pacific Northwest.

Elisa joined HUSKY in 2022, bringing with her over 15 years of HR experience specializing in organizational structure, human resource information systems, benefits, talent management, people analytics, and employee training. Most recently, Elisa was Director of HR and Payroll at POWTEC, a tribally-owned government contractor for local military bases. Combining her expertise in health administration and software development brings a fresh outlook to Human Resources and troubleshooting. Elisa sits on the South Puget Sound Society of Human Resources Board as the Legislative Director.

She is a native of the Pacific Northwest and lives in Tacoma with her husband and two boys. Elisa finds solace in the evergreen forests, exploring farmers' markets, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Philip Styf

Philip Styf

As the visionary Director of Information Technology at Husky Terminal, Philip Styf spearheads our technology initiatives, infusing innovation into our operations and empowering our dynamic team. With a strong focus on technology-driven solutions, Phil leads the oversight of all Information Technology projects while taking on direct accountability for company-wide cybersecurity and data confidentiality.

Bringing over 25 years of extensive expertise in information technology, data security, and compliance, Phil has spent the last 17 years excelling in diverse I.T. management roles. Despite being relatively new to the maritime industry, he's rapidly bridging the gap by leveraging his career deeply rooted in technology.

Phil's passion for delivering seamless solutions is palpable as he drives the adoption of cutting-edge advancements in the maritime realm. His collaborative approach involves working closely with cross-functional teams, tapping into their diverse expertise to streamline processes and ensure the efficient operation of Husky’s I.T. infrastructure.

Phil’s ultimate goal is to make technology not only a cornerstone of support but a driving force behind our business objectives. His strategic vision aligns seamlessly with our mission to transform the maritime landscape.

Beyond his professional achievements, Phil finds solace in nature through hiking and camping. He brings this same passion for precision to his home kitchen, crafting culinary masterpieces for his family. An avid homebrewer, he combines creativity and technique to concoct beverages that delight the senses. When not immersed in these pursuits, he valiantly guards his furniture against the enthusiastic presence of his beloved Great Danes.

Phil is not just a Director of Information Technology, but an innovation enthusiast who is shaping the future of Husky Terminal through technological advancement and unwavering dedication.

Chris Sharp

Chris joined Husky Terminal as Senior Director of Operations in 2024 and provides leadership and direction for the marine, yard, gate and rail operations teams.

Chris began his career in the maritime industry at the Marine Exchange of Southern California in 2002. In 2004, Chris moved on to SSA Terminals in Long Beach, CA where he spent eight years in operations during a period of rapid technological change. Ultimately, this led to a leadership position in operations technology where he managed a portfolio of strategic technology initiatives at nine West Coast container terminals before joining us at Husky.

Above all, Chris is a family man who enjoys the company of his wife and three kids. Chris is also passionate about learning, traveling, sports, and the great outdoors.

Ryan Lucido

As the Director of Sustainability, Security, and Facilities, Ryan plays a pivotal role in ensuring the terminal's operations are not only safe, efficient, and secure but also forward thinking and environmentally responsible. Ryan has become a cornerstone of Husky Terminal's leadership team by leading Husky Terminal on its journey toward a 2040 Net-Zero goal while nearly doubling its throughput capacity via our massive Terminal Reconfiguration Project.

Ryan is a seasoned professional with an impressive 10 years of maritime industry and 5 years of hospitality industry experience, known for his innovative thinking, exceptional leadership, extraordinary customer service, and dedication to sustainability and security. With a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies and International Maritime Affairs from the esteemed California Maritime Academy, Ryan's passion for the environment, global interconnectedness, and the maritime industry has driven his career forward.

Hailing from the picturesque Northern California East-Bay area, Ryan's journey led him to Seattle then Renton, where he currently resides with his loving wife and two children. Beyond his professional pursuits, Ryan finds solace and joy in spending quality time with his family and dogs, exploring the outdoors on bike rides, photography, and staying up-to-date with the latest tech.

As Director of M&R at Husky Terminal. Craig leads our maintenance operations team and IAM workforce responsible for maintaining terminal assets, servicing our customer’s equipment, and monitoring all refrigerated cargo.

Craig’s career in the industry spans nearly 19 years working throughout the Port of Tacoma. He served in various roles at Pierce County Terminal and Tacoma Container Terminal before coming to Husky, and brings an extensive background in terminal operations and maintenance management.

In his personal time, Craig enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth basketball, and fly fishing whenever he gets a chance.

Shirley McDaid

Director, Customer Service

As the Sr. Manager of Customer Service, Shirley oversees our Customer Experience Team & Trading Partners to coordinate efficient movement of their cargo through Husky Terminal.

In 1985, Shirley was in year 1 of a 2-year transportation degree when Husky asked her to join as their primary Freight Coordinator. One week later, she was managing Husky’s historic first vessel call, the Charlotte Maersk. Over her 35+ years of serving Husky, she has seen the terminal grow a 33-acre facility at Pier 7D to 130 acres at Terminal 4. She was there when the first double stack train in Tacoma came through Husky and she was there for the discharge of Ocean Network Express’s very first container, ONEU00000-1. Always an advocate for our shipping, trucking and carrier partners, Shirley continues to be the foundation for what our customers experience should be.

When not supporting the transportation community, Shirley enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends, family and grandkid!

Neil Ireland

Director, Labor Relations

Neil Ireland

As the Labor Relations Director for Husky Terminal & Stevedoring, Neil plays a crucial role in fostering positive and productive relationships between the company and its unionized workforce. His primary responsibility is to ensure that the interests of both parties are represented fairly and that any conflicts or disputes are resolved effectively and amicably. This requires a combination of interpersonal skills, negotiation abilities, and a deep understanding of labor laws and industry practices. By maintaining quality relations between the company and its unionized workforce, Neil helps to create a positive and productive work environment that benefits both employees and the company as a whole.

Neil's career trajectory showcases a deep immersion in the maritime industry, evolving from his roots as a commercial fisherman to his current role at Husky Terminal. His journey reflects a commitment to understanding the various facets of the industry, from hands-on experience to managerial roles.

Starting out as a commercial fisherman in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, Neil gained firsthand knowledge of the challenges and dynamics of maritime work. This foundation instilled in him a strong work ethic and an appreciation for the intricacies of the sea. Obtaining his Merchant Mariner Captain credentials demonstrated Neil's dedication to advancing his career and acquiring the necessary qualifications to excel in the maritime field. His experience in different roles, from working on tugboats with Manson Construction to captaining vessels with Argosy Cruises, provided him with a diverse skill set and a comprehensive understanding of maritime operations. His tenure at Jones Stevedoring, where he climbed the ranks from Superintendent to Northwest Operations Manager, showcases his ability to lead and manage complex operations within the industry. This experience honed his skills in problem-solving, negotiation, and personnel management, all of which are essential for his current role in labor relations.

Outside of work, Neil's interests include spending time with his family on their Christmas tree/hobby farm, exploring the Pacific Northwest through hiking, and tinkering with cars and tractors.

Troy Hatherell

Sr. Manager, Operations – Marine

Troy Hatherell

As Senior Operations Manager, Troy is responsible for dayside vessel operations. His team works with Port Captains, vessel crew, and longshoremen to ensure a safe and productive vessel operation.

Troy brings 25 years of industry experience. Before coming to Husky he was with Ports America managing both marine and yard/gate operations. He also worked with SSA International at Manzanillo International Terminal (MIT) in Colon Panama and SSA Mexico in Manzanillo Mexico.

Troy likes to get out to the mountains when possible to hike or snow ski. Usually with 1 or more of his four daughters.

Will O'Malley

As a Senior Operations Manager, William takes on the responsibility of spearheading the leadership, achievement, and development of operational and financial goals and objectives for night vessel and yards. With an unyielding commitment to ensuring high levels of safety, productivity, customer service, and efficiency, William serves as a driving force behind Husky’s dedication to a Customer First mentality.

With over 8 years of diverse experience in the stevedoring industry, William has honed a deep understanding of the intricacies inherent in maritime operations. Prior to his current role, he excelled as an Operations Manager at Husky Terminal (2018 – 2023) and Superintendent at Pierce County Terminal (2015-2018), consistently showcasing his expertise in supply chain management, labor relations, and process improvement. Throughout his career, he has displayed an ability to optimize supply chain operations, manage workforces effectively, and drive lean management practices to achieve tangible results.

When not immersed in work, he finds fulfillment in activities such as staying active through workouts, hiking, and golfing, as well as traveling and spending time with his family.

Dowel King

Sr. Manager, Operations – Yard

Dowel King

As a Senior Operations Manager, Dowel oversees Yard and Gate operations. His team collaborates closely with the local trucking community, steamship lines, and longshoremen to ensure the safe and efficient delivery and receipt of cargo through the terminal gate, with a strong emphasis on providing exceptional customer service.

Dowel brings nine years of extensive industry experience to his role. Prior to joining Husky, he was employed at Everport Terminal Services, where he played a key role in establishing three departments across Oakland, CA, and Pierce County Terminal (PCT). Dowel began his career at Ben E. Nutter Terminal in Oakland, where he gained hands-on experience in both yard and vessel operations. After spending 2.5 years in Oakland, he transitioned to the Pacific Northwest with Everport, where he further developed his skills in yard and gate, vessel, and rail operations while working within a straddle carrier operation.

Outside of work, Dowel enjoys spending quality time with his family and traveling whenever possible. He is also passionate about maintaining an active lifestyle and regularly enjoys the outdoors or training at the gym.
