As Vice President of Operations at Husky Terminal, Eli is responsible for vessel, terminal, rail, and gate cargo handling operations, including maintenance and repair functions for container and intermodal equipment, overseeing the corporate safety program, and labor relations.
Eli brings to Husky 32 years of west coast industry operational experience, including lean process optimization. Before joining Husky, Eli was General Manager at Terminal 18 in Seattle from 2014 – 2022. Earlier career experience includes Terminal Manager at Oakland International Container Terminal from 2013-2014, West Basin Container Terminal in the Port of Los Angeles from 2007-2011, and Terminal Manager at Pacific Container Terminal in the Port of Long Beach from 1999-2004 and prior management positions with SSA on the west coast.
When not working, Eli enjoys traveling with his wife of 29 years, spending time with his three daughters, staying physically fit, and reading a good book.
