As a Senior Operations Manager, Dowel oversees Yard and Gate operations. His team collaborates closely with the local trucking community, steamship lines, and longshoremen to ensure the safe and efficient delivery and receipt of cargo through the terminal gate, with a strong emphasis on providing exceptional customer service.

Dowel brings nine years of extensive industry experience to his role. Prior to joining Husky, he was employed at Everport Terminal Services, where he played a key role in establishing three departments across Oakland, CA, and Pierce County Terminal (PCT). Dowel began his career at Ben E. Nutter Terminal in Oakland, where he gained hands-on experience in both yard and vessel operations. After spending 2.5 years in Oakland, he transitioned to the Pacific Northwest with Everport, where he further developed his skills in yard and gate, vessel, and rail operations while working within a straddle carrier operation.

Outside of work, Dowel enjoys spending quality time with his family and traveling whenever possible. He is also passionate about maintaining an active lifestyle and regularly enjoys the outdoors or training at the gym.
