As the Sr. Manager of Customer Service, Shirley oversees our Customer Experience Team & Trading Partners to coordinate efficient movement of their cargo through Husky Terminal.
In 1985, Shirley was in year 1 of a 2-year transportation degree when Husky asked her to join as their primary Freight Coordinator. One week later, she was managing Husky’s historic first vessel call, the Charlotte Maersk. Over her 35+ years of serving Husky, she has seen the terminal grow a 33-acre facility at Pier 7D to 130 acres at Terminal 4. She was there when the first double stack train in Tacoma came through Husky and she was there for the discharge of Ocean Network Express’s very first container, ONEU00000-1. Always an advocate for our shipping, trucking and carrier partners, Shirley continues to be the foundation for what our customers experience should be.
When not supporting the transportation community, Shirley enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends, family and grandkid!
