As Vice President of Commercial, Steve is responsible for developing long-term strategic alliances with our carrier, shipper, trucking, and Port Authority partners, ensuring Husky delivers on its vision of being an innovative solutions provider and the Premier Terminal Partner in the Pacific Northwest. 

Steve brings nearly 30 years of West Coast industry experience to the team. Prior to joining Husky in 2021, he began his career with Expeditors International in 1994.  In 1997 he joined “K” Line America, where he led all Pacific Northwest and Western Canada operations.  In 2018, Steve transitioned to Ocean Network Express as their head of PNW Port Operations following the integration of “K” Line, MOL, and NYK. Steve has sat on the board of the World Trade Center of Tacoma and the Transportation Club of Tacoma, serving as its President and past Person of the Year award winner.      

Steve is a native of the Pacific Northwest and resides in the Puget Sound area with his wife, two daughters, and son.  He enjoys traveling, fishing, and mountain biking across many of the incredible trails the PNW has to offer.
