As the Director of Sustainability, Security, and Facilities, Ryan plays a pivotal role in ensuring the terminal's operations are not only safe, efficient, and secure but also forward thinking and environmentally responsible. Ryan has become a cornerstone of Husky Terminal's leadership team by leading Husky Terminal on its journey toward a 2040 Net-Zero goal while nearly doubling its throughput capacity via our massive Terminal Reconfiguration Project.
Ryan is a seasoned professional with an impressive 10 years of maritime industry and 5 years of hospitality industry experience, known for his innovative thinking, exceptional leadership, extraordinary customer service, and dedication to sustainability and security. With a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies and International Maritime Affairs from the esteemed California Maritime Academy, Ryan's passion for the environment, global interconnectedness, and the maritime industry has driven his career forward.
Hailing from the picturesque Northern California East-Bay area, Ryan's journey led him to Seattle then Renton, where he currently resides with his loving wife and two children. Beyond his professional pursuits, Ryan finds solace and joy in spending quality time with his family and dogs, exploring the outdoors on bike rides, photography, and staying up-to-date with the latest tech.
