Neil's career trajectory showcases a deep immersion in the maritime industry, evolving from his roots as a commercial fisherman to his current role at Husky Terminal. Starting out as a commercial fisherman in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, Neil gained firsthand knowledge of the challenges and dynamics of maritime work. This foundation instilled in him a strong work ethic and an appreciation for the intricacies of the sea.  Obtaining his Merchant Mariner Captain credentials demonstrated Neil's dedication to advancing his career and acquiring the necessary qualifications to excel in the maritime field. His experience in different roles, from working on tugboats with Manson Construction to captaining vessels with Argosy Cruises, provided him with a diverse skill set and a comprehensive understanding of maritime operations.  His tenure at Jones Stevedoring, where he climbed the ranks from Superintendent to Northwest Operations Manager, showcases his ability to lead and manage complex operations within the industry. This experience honed his skills in problem-solving, negotiation, and personnel management, all of which are essential for his current role in labor relations.

Outside of work, Neil's interests include spending time with his family on their Christmas tree/hobby farm, exploring the Pacific Northwest through hiking, and tinkering with cars and tractors.
